"The property was much smaller than expected and we were disappointed by the quality of furnishings and equipment some of which were old (floor coverings and kitchen utensils) and unacceptable in our view. We felt the photographs had been staged and larger groups would have struggled to have had a comfortable experience. The shower was difficult to use and was inaccessible for those who might have any physical issues and particularly so if pregnant or with balance problems. "

"What a fantastic place to stay , the cottage was perfect , very comfortable and felt just right .had everything we needed for our stay. Bed comfy and clean loved the way you slept downstairs and the views breathtaking. Lots of information and maps so perfect for us . No garden for four legged friend but walks just outside . We did keep our dog on lead due lambs and nesting birds . Fantastic pub 2 minute walk away . Will be going back without a doubt . Perfect for us ."

"The house in Hawes is in a peaceful, private setting with easy access to the small local shops. Worth being aware that a "proper supermarket" is 45 minutes away. It was a perfect house and location for our family get together, with plenty of space for all of us. The house was also spotless. We unfortunately had an issue with the alarm and the electricity not working when we arrived but an electrician was sent out the next morning."

"Really nice cottage. Lovely area. But, pretty cold. Would have been good if heating had been on before we arrived. Took while to heat up. Then heating stopped altogether on Friday . Other than that. It was a wonderful stay."

"Our stay was ok, however the central heating switched off every 15 minutes and tripped the consumer unit, i had to reset it many times to keep warm in such a lovely cottage, this spoilt it for us unfortunately. If the heating had stayed on we would rate this cottage very highly. We contacted the customer service office many times over the week but the problem was not resolved and nobody seemed to understand the issue, they just came in and reset the central heating switch in the consumer unit...
