"Unfortunately it was only a one night stay for us but after staying we will absolutely plan a longer stay in the future. The room was super clean and we absolutely loved that the owner's supplied a historical overview binder of the property. They had a little beach area with a grill, kayaks and having access to the Weeki Wachee River gave you the option of being active or being completely still and just taking in all the natural beauty around you.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! "

"Duck Haven was the perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I. We were able to explore during the day and have a nice and cozy apartment to come back to at night. I loved being able to look out our window and see the sheep, and looking at the horses as we pulled up the driveway. Dona was a very accommodating host, and her tour of the sanctuary on the property was so interesting and fun!"

"This is an apartment on the 8th floor with two bedrooms. The problem is that the floors are very dirty. It seems that the cleaning service only removes trash but never washes the floors. My daughter walked outside in white socks, and they stayed clean. However, within 10 minutes of walking around the apartment, her socks turned black. "Location is far enough that it's gave the quiet serene feeling we were looking for. We even got to see firefly's for the first time since we were all kids. The road leading to the house is unpaved so please be careful. The property manager stayed on property near by in case we needed anything. Apologies if we watched movies to loud."
