**Lakefront** Open Concept Gem

Wamplers Lake is an all-sport but peaceful lake in Irish Hills, popular for year-round fishing and host of the annual Midwest Open Ice Fishing Tournament.

Our lakefront property includes backyard, front yard with patio and electric awning, plus an additional front lawn and seawall right up to the water's edge.

Lakeshore Drive is a quiet private road with more pedestrians than vehicles. Morning walkers, joggers, and cyclists enjoy the beautiful views and peace and quiet of Lakeshore Drive.

Our lake home has a bedroom and full bathroom on the main level, plus two additional bedrooms and a half bath upstairs (see below for bed sizes). The main level has a large open-concept great room that includes a fully stocked kitchen, living room, dining room, and laundry. Just off the living room is a heated four-seasons room with beautiful views of the lake. Window air conditioning units are located throughout the home.

Home has a long private driveway with both front and back doors for your convenience. Maximum 4 vehicles.

Please note that 100% of the cleaning fee goes directly to the cleaner.

***WINTER GUESTS: First floor has central gas heat, which covers the master bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, main bathroom, and sunroom. There is also an electric fireplace below the TV in the living room. Upstairs bedrooms have their own baseboard heaters. Dock is removed during the off-season.***

The Fun House
We had such a great time, we nicknamed this property “The Fun House!” The location is fantastic, the lake is beautiful, and the accommodations are top notch. If you enjoy just hanging out by the water and relaxing, this is the place. If you enjoy water sports and activity, this is the place. Something for everyone, for sure!

This was a cute, clean place that was comfortable for two couples, kids and dogs. The upstairs bath is a very small half bath and the downstairs bathroom is clean and comfortable but there is no bathtub, so it may be inconvenient if you have very small children. The homeowner has thought of everything to make sure you have all conveniences of home!

Solid stay on so many levels: owner was friendly, helpful and responsive, place was so cute - awesome attention to details that made it feel so nice & cozy, my friends and I loved it! From the design details to having just about everything we wanted or needed. Beds were comfortable. Easily cooked and had pretty much what we needed. Shed full of fun stuff like paddles, bikes. Lake was beautiful and peaceful, highly recommend!

The Lake House was very clean, stocked, and well maintained. Everything you can possibly need is available from towels, first aid kit, laundry soaps, kitchen appliances, basic kitchen supplies, and some inputs about the local areas that you can get food from, explore and enjoy. We didn’t get to use any water toys because we have other plans but there’s a lot of board games, coloring materials, and paddle boat available for us to use. The Wi-Fi and cable connections were good, and the house is equipped with Alexa speaker, wireless chargers, multiple ceiling fans around, humidifiers, AC and heaters. There’s also an automatic awning for the front porch of the house. One thing I did not like was the bathroom situation. You have 3 bedrooms in the house, 2 were located upstairs with toilet, 1 bedroom downstairs and 1 full bathroom with a tiny shower. The shower is too small and it’s very hard to take a shower. Also, the water smells funky and you need to let it run for a little while to get rid of the funky smell. Our overall experience at the lake house was very good and we’re very happy with our stay. We’ll be back!

the property is set up great for a vacation. the fishing was good once the weed beds were found, and the beach is sandy for swimming and shallow for the little kids. the neighbors are very friendly, and everyone waves hello.

The Perfect Getaway
My sister-in-laws and I plan a semi-annual getaway to hang out and craft. We’ve kissed a few frogs along the way but finally found our PERFECT location here at this charming cottage on the lake. The host was so helpful if we had questions, and the special touches are exceptional. The cottage is beautiful and incredibly clean. Everything is clearly labeled, and there is a helpful guide for all visitors. The common space is open and just perfect for hanging out and taking in the view. I loved morning coffee looking at the water. I don’t think the pictures even did this place its full justice; the lake is RIGHT there, and the road has barely any traffic. Despite frigid spring temps, we had wonderful walks along the lake. We look forward to returning again and enjoying the outdoor space if weather allows. I can only imagine how fun this would be in the summer. If you are looking for the perfect getaway, this is it. Pure Michigan magic.
