"During this season of gratitude we felt so lucky to stay at such a well appointed and lovely home. Unlike many rental homes that are stripped of personality, this home was full of charm and lovingly designed touches. From the cookware to the bedding the home was welcoming and comfortable. The kitchen and living room in particular were of good size for our entire group to eat and relax comfortably each with its own fireplace. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the cozy Kilburn cottage, originally a sheep barn turned into workers housing in the 40s. We are very familiar with this beautiful area so knew where we were going and the setting. The attached ‘cottage’ at the Inns rear wing is charming and was just what we needed for visiting family nearby. It had all we needed for the 3 adults staying over and a family visitor for dinner. "The nearly 200-year old Carley Farmhouse nestled amidst the Vermont hills is a real keeper! "This was our 2nd stay at the Inn. The Innkeeper was always available and very helpful. The Inn itself was quaint with a tasty restaurant down stairs. The room was quite and had all needed amenities and the bed was very comfortable. If your looking for a relaxed place to stay close to skiing, this is it!"

Great location and a comfortable stay

"We enjoy our stay and the convenience of the toaster (for our own bread) in the lobby and hot water (for our own drinks), that we are allowed to use. The hotel is generally clean but we did encounter trash next to the bed and also the hair dryer once time still plugged into the wall. There we would recommend to retrain the cleaning crew to ensure that everything is cleaned and cleaned out and that everything is put back in its place. "
