Our beautiful home sits on a cliff 80 feet above the shoreline. At low tide there are many rocks and a large beach. But even at high tide Pelican Rock stands above the water. There is no direct access to the beach from the house but it is only 9 tenths of a mile to Sport Heaven Beach, about a 20 minute walk or a short drive. Sport Heaven Beach has miles of sandy beach and there are many other beautiful beaches in the area. The house is 4 miles from the center of Brookings and 1 mile to the Harbor.  At the harbor there are great restaurants,  fishing charters and a great boardwalk overlooking the boats.
Come and enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets.
We have lived in Brookings for three years now and love it year round.  We live in our home just 4 miles away with our three small dogs. We hope to see you soon.
Please no trailers. Our driveway does not allow for turning around a trailer.
There is a video camera above the garage door that monitors the driveway.
Please stay off the neighbors property and stairs to the beach

This was my favorite beach house ever! The location provides a stunning ocean view and the fenced yard was perfect for our needs traveling with a senior dog. Every detail in the house has been designed for the comfort and ease of guests, and the degree of cleanliness is outstanding. We stayed a couple of weeks before Christmas and were cheered by the cute decorations and lights that our host provided. John was a delightful and responsive host who provided tips on where to eat and what to see. So grateful for how "at home" we felt and can't wait to return!

Wow, what a view!
This property is the perfect comfortable, cozy and clean ocean front rental. The view is amazing and it's the perfect location to serve as a base to explore the area. It was our second time staying in this home and we will be back again.

Perfect Ocean Cottage Hideaway
This property is a little slice of peaceful heaven. There’s nothing quite like drinking your morning coffee in the backyard with the ocean waves crashing in below you. The dogs enjoyed lying in the sun in the backyard and all the dog-friendly hiking recommendations. We are getting back on the road with two very tired, happy pups! This unique property is a perfect little hideaway and the owner couldn’t have been kinder.

Awesome end to Spring Break and Easter
Stayed here at the end of Spring Break 2024; great weather, great view from the living room, very friendly owner with helpful and very thoughtful communication through out the entire stay! Even had a little fun with the Easter bunny hiding some eggs around the property for the kids to wake up to [they had no clue He followed us to the beach :-) ]. Also, was able to bring our new pup for her first beach visit ever! Great trip, great little place to stay with a great view!

Wonderful house.
I chose this house because of the yard but my dog ended up staying home with my daughter’s new dog, so the yard was wasted on me but The house was comfy and cozy and right on the water. Very clean and the host was excellent with recommendations of things to do.

It really does look like this from the main living room window, although we had fabulous stormy seas in late December. Perfect size for two adults but the three beds could sleep five. I wish it was closer so I could visit more often.

Beach Get away
We had the best time in Brookings. We loved the house. Perfect location, and the views of the ocean are spectacular. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the living room was a great place to relax. We really enjoyed sitting at the firepit in the evening. It is one of the best dog friendly rentals ever! The owner was super helpful and responsive. He gave us great recommendations for dining out and even directed us to several fishing spots. We look forward to coming back!

Amazing stay
We had an amazing time in Brookings. John is a fantastic host and the house is a great escape right on the beach. John was really helpful showing us some great places to eat and good beaches and hiking trails. He even took us out on the boat for a morning of fishing. Can’t wait to come back!
