From the moment you step into Sunset Cabin, you will be captivated by the calming and serene feeling of being on the pristine Oregon coastline, looking through huge picture windows.

Nestled cliffside overlooking the endless view of the Pacific. This home offers a dead-end private drive within walking distance to the Port of Brookings Harbor.

The living area features a pellet stove and a wide-open floor plan with an upper deck overlooking the comfortable furnishings. The breakfast bar is unique, with raised bench seating on one side and tall bar stools facing the kitchen. You'll also find a four-seat wood dining table.

The master bedroom and bathroom are located on the ground floor, with a small deck off the bedroom.

Climb the unique staircase to the upper deck, where you'll find a lofted room featuring a queen futon and twin bed, then go up one more step to another bedroom with a double bed and two more twin beds.

Every space features clean ocean air, and you'll find endless ocean views from nearly every room in the house. If you are looking for the perfect beach getaway and want to be the captain of your ship - this is the home for you. Perfect getaway
We spent 4 nights here. It was clean, had amazing views, and was adorable.. We will be staying again the next time we are in the area. It had everything you would need or want to enjoy a cozy weekend at the beach.

We visited the Oregon coast for spring break and this was a perfect location for our family! Just steps to the beach, beautiful ocean views, and everything you need right in this amazing beach home. The management was accessible. The home was beautiful and just as advertised.

The home was very clean & had everything we needed .
The views were amazing, beach access is 90 stair steps away (yes 90) but the stairs & handrails are solid & safe. The home was very clean, furniture & beds very comfortable and plenty of nice towels & linens which are often in short supply in rental properties . We would definitely rent hear again!

Beautiful views of sunsets and moon shine on the ocean from the deck. Alice is prompt and pleasant with communication. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Close to redwoods, beaches and good restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic location with access to the beach
We have family who we visit in Brookings so this is our third VRBO stay. It was very nice, absolutely no complaints, except for the fees that get tacked on after the nightly rate is established which make ones’ stay considerably more expensive. That has nothing to do with this property, more with the way VRBO functions. This house is lovely and comfortable, with everything you might need for your stay. We loved that there were stairs to take us down to the beach so we could walk to the harbor. Unfortunately, our two days in Brookings were very stormy and wet so no beach walks this trip. The pellet fireplace in the house makes things extra cozy on stormy days. Comfortable beds — all but the master are upstairs. No bathroom upstairs so one has to go down through the kitchen to access the second bathroom. When one only has A weekend it is disappointing that you can’t check in until 4 PM yet you have to be out at 10 AM. There was no wiggle room on this

Very Nice Getaway
The cabin was rustic, charming and VERY well stocked. It's the best stocked VRBO I've ever had. The views were beautiful and beach access was great. Being near the harbor, we really had everything we needed right there. The property manager is pleasant and professional. As a gardener/farmer, I particularly enjoyed the plantings at the house and throughout the neighborhood. Beautiful gardens! We drove by early just to get our bearings/make plans (disabled child - planning ahead is important!). We were aggressively stopped (while driving by her house on our way OUT) by a nosy, nasty neighbor who clearly did not want us there. I really don't like calling people Karens, but this person fit the bill, unfortunately. There were a few cons to this property, but altogether, this home is a great place to retreat for a quiet weekend at the beach, which is what we needed. Just maybe avoid the neighbor, even if she repeatedly yells at you to stop your vehicle. Don't make our mistake. Just keep rolling...

Amazing Ocean Front Getaway
This was a perfect place for myself, my husband, mother-in-law and 2 boys! The location was great, secluded off a side street, so the only noise we heard was the amazing sound of the waves! Beach access was great, my oldest son and I used the stairs a few times!

AMAZING
Everyone of our party were extremely impressed with everything about this house. In fact we really wanted to extend our stay a couple more days but were unable to do so. All the amenities the house has made it a blessing as nothing was missing. We will be back it is the perfect house in the most beautiful location. I highly recommend this place as the most amazing awesome getaway!!Looking forward to pur next adventures here in the future.

Beautiful oceanfront vacation spot
Overall, this property is fantastic! We enjoyed the ocean views and the opportunity to walk down to and along the beach. There are several stairs down to the beach, but my elderly parents were able to navigate them and utilized the bench halfway up for a rest. The house is an older home that has been very nicely renovated. The second bathroom is a little on the small side, but served its purpose just fine. Amenities included everything we wanted and more. The management group is fantastic and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed this property and would definitely return if visiting the area again.

Beautiful Weekend Getaway
I went for a solo weekend, and this place was so perfect. Character, cozy, clean, comfortable. The property manager met me in person at check in to show me things, which was really helpful. And the view was spectacular!

Beautiful location
This is a wonderful house for family and friends get-togethers. The kitchen and seating areas were ample enough for our whole group. The new deck with chairs, table, and fire pit overlooking the ocean were the real gem on the property. The stairs to the beach were very stable with non-wood topped handrails (no splinters). A very beautiful stay in a beautiful rustically decorated house.

This home is so beautiful. The pictures on VRBO didn’t do justice. Our family had a lovely time. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer. We were on a 3 week vacation and this was our 4th house and our favorite! Plenty of space inside and out, Comfortable beds, a stocked kitchen where delicious meals were made, a beautiful deck to enjoy sunsets and quality family time! The many steps to the beach were worth the trek each time. If we ever make the long drive from Indiana to Oregon again, we’d love to stay here!🤗

Loved our Stay!
So grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here. Highly recommend! Better in person than the photos. The deck is perfect for meals and has comfy chairs for reading, all while watching the boats and waves roll in. You can hear the waves from the inside as well- such a fun way to wake up. The bed was comfy, which is always a pleasant surprise for vrbos. Everything was clean. The two women we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The stairs are impressive- I love that we had a view from above with beach access as well. If you stay, I highly recommend the local coffee shop a half a mile away- the best coffee and homemade scones and muffins.
