"Perfect for me and my husband. Super clean and quiet. Easy to get ahold of if any problems and the owners are awesome and accommodating! Loved the farm animals and beautiful game room with plenty to do. We will be back again! "

"Owner asked us to switch to the Farmhouse (there are two tiny houses next to each other on the property. The house was perfect for our family of 5 for one night with a double bed, double air mattress and futon. Electric heater kept the house warm through the cold night. Not a lot of space inside, but plenty of room to sleep and get cleaned up, which is all we needed, and plenty of space to move around outside. "

"Quaint, tidy and clean; the location is rural and the .property is rustic, very private and thoughtfully landscaped with camellias, azaleas and old live oaks with Spanish moss, very impressive. The lake was larger than I expected, clear with lots of aquatic botany. The fishing was fantastic for February with bass and bream on the bite. Fly fishing was productive, lots of fun from the beach.Had a great time for my 81st birthday."

"Nice, quiet cabin right on a small lake, great for a weekend getaway. It was comfortable and well furnished. With a smart TV, we were able to watch some of our favorite shows during the rainy part of our stay, and then we sat out on the big screened in back and on the large deck when the sun was out. It had a barbeque but we didn't use it due to the weather.The only issues we had were first, we discovered two burned out outlets on separate six-outlet plugs, one of which had a floor heater...

"Our stay at the Barasala was nice and comfortable. It was spacious and had all the essentials you need to cook, pots, pans, utensils, and cups. The restroom was nice and spacious, I was glad they provided body wash because I actually left mine at home. I really appreciate the staff checking throughout our stay to make sure we were good and didn't need anything. We needed some additional towels, and John was expedient and made sure we had them ASAP. I would definitely recommend Barasala...
