"Our little cabin had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Host Frank is very warm and welcoming and gave us a helpful overview of his beautiful property. We enjoyed hiking and swimming and access to the region. The lake is lovely! Next time we’ll hope for better weather to enjoy it more. Just two things in our cabin that could be fixed: the bedroom has a strong mildew odour from damp; it would be great if the laundry line was on the sunny side of the cabin, as it is not possible to dry anything...

"Me and my GF booked this place last minute. We wanted to have a nice getaway in the Eastern Townships. When we arrived, the property was exactly what we wanted. Right next to all of these splendid hiking trails. Our cottage was adjacent to the lake. The lake is so refreshing and clean. You can walk in it with your bare feet. Inside the cabin, we got the wood stove crackling with a glowing hot fire. It was so soothing. Had a nice bbq steak dinner. Would go to cool off on our midnight swims...

"The house was clean and beautiful. This is the best-stocked VRBO house we have ever stayed at. They supplied paper products, soap, laundry and dishwasher detergent, spices, etc. That was handy as international travelers. The hosts were exceedingly friendly and polite. "The home is right on Lac Brome, and although the house and the lake are separated by a road, it actually makes the area on the lake much more peaceful. We also had access to a couple of deck chairs and a kayak. We were fortunate to have lovely weather so we were able to use the barbecue, sit outside, and enjoy the lake. "I cannot say enough about how pleasant a visit was to the Sutton township made only better JF's chalet on Maple Street. Beautiful big fireplace and the entire house was a dream to stay in. All amenities were in good order. We will be coming back. Thanks again JF."

"Upon arrival, we did not have the code to get the keys to enter the house, had problems contacting the owner/manager. We wanted to BBQ our first night but there was no propane. Contacted owner again who called the neighbour as propane was locked in the garage. Neighbour was not home. We were told to purchase propane and be reimbursed. It was too late to do so. So no BBQ. We ran short of toilet paper, paper towels and dishwasher pods so bought some, left a few and took the rest home. We were told...

"We loved our stay at this property from the moment we walked in the door! It was perfect for our group of friends who were there to catch up and do some skiing. All the mountains were within 30 minutes. We had everything we needed and weren't in need of anything. Our hosts even turned up the heat for our arrival. To cap it all off, the horses next door came by to say hello and we were treated to a herd of deer crossing the lake. We recommend the property and hosts without reservation."

"Place is clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the heating system was broken. The maintenance crew tried to fix it cut no luck . We were provided with 2 electric heater instead and it was warm enough. Otherwise, the stay was perfect!"

"Great spot for a group or family. Extremely organized rental, Full kitchen. Laundry set in the unit, two large rooms and two bathrooms. Lots of extra towels, nice covered patio with a large patio table. Great view of the hill. There isn't a lot of eating facilities in walking distance so I would say a car is must. Close by is a grocery store, some restaurants. Driving distance to local attractions, I would rent again. "
