"Stayed here for a week in June/July. Even during the very hot weather the downstairs of the gite was very cool. The gite was well equipped and comfortable. It's isolation ensures you have a great view of the night sky but can be a long drive from the main roads due to the winding roads. My suggestions may be for a fan in the bedroom as on a warm evening it can get quite hot upstairs. Overall we had a great time during our one week stay here and would recommend it."

"bonjour, Superbe séjour dans un écrin de verdure de bois de ballades en forêt. Les hôtes sont très gentils. Leur habitation est proche mais ils sont discrets. Je cherchais un lieu silencieux en pleine nature et je l’ai trouvé. Tout ce qu’il fallait comme linge, ustensile de cuisine se trouvent sur place. La propreté est exemplaire. "This is our 2nd stay at Le Douluch and it was as good as the 1st time. The house is gorgeous and well laid out. All communication with the owners was very clear and friendly and the manager Suzanne was lovely. The house is in a really tranquil area of France which isn’t hugely touristy but the pool is fabulous and private when the weather is good. We had a few overcast days this time but used that to explore the local area and would definitely recommend the chocolate made by the nuns at Abbaye...

"Malcolm and Vivian where very welcoming and helpful. The views are amazing and the location is very peaceful. The house is beautiful and quirky, although if you like to cook for yourselves, the kitchen is a little short on utensils. We improvised! We had a problem with the cooker and Malcolm had it replaced the next day! We would definitely stay again."
