The soaring cathedral ceilings and exposed timber beams make you feel as though you have been transported to a Cotswold village in England. A little 50th birthday getaway
This has to be one of the most cutest cottages we have ever stayed in. The fireplace was a big favourite of ours and we really liked being close to the all of the wineries but away from the busy part of wine country too. The nature and animals we saw in Broke were so cool and we will continue to reflect on the memories made here.

Very cozy property that was a perfect place for a recent family getaway. Plenty of firewood for the open fire. Good bbq. Beds were very comfy! Our two dogs also had a great time running around the yard. Note though that the yard isn't secure for any dogs who may like to escape! There is a very small fenced area behind the garage to lock them up if necessary. Also, would be great to have a few staples in the pantry other than salt & pepper. Overall, the property was lovely, though

Perfect Family Getaway
Bonn Abbey was the perfect spot for our extended family to catch up in the Hunter Super relaxing area, close enough to everything the Valley has to offer but quiet and secluded Brooke was wonderful to deal with and we felt incredibly spoilt. Thanks for a lovely stay

Beautiful property and amazing location
Loved the stay. The property is very comfortable and well connected with most key points of Hunter Valley. Everyone in the group wanted to stay for a few more days. Just a small suggestion to the manager that for a group of 8 adults and 4 kids, there should be more toilet rolls. Overall awesome experience, will book it again soon.

We absolutely loved staying at Bonn Abbey after having holidays cancelled many times throughout the Covid period. The house was perfect for two families to co-habit and enjoy lovely bbqs and dinners at home. We really appreciated all the effort that the host invested to make our stay so happy, safe and memorable. Very grateful and can highly recommend this property.

A Great Weekend
Our book club has a weekend away each year and this year we chose the Hunter Valley. We needed a large place, plenty of beds and lots of room for cooking and just lounging around. And a fireplace. The Abbey had all of the above and was very close to the wineries we wanted to visit. So it was a perfect base for a great weekend. Highly recommended.

Ideal for a weekend away
We could have stayed longer! The house was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for a weekend away with friends. The big log fire was a highlight enjoyed by all. Our dogs and children loved it too. We look forward to returning.

A great winter girls weekend location. Cosy and great centrally located fireplace. Could have done with an extra couch to accommodate us (6 of us) and the upstairs bedroom with no door meant all sound travelled. Otherwise a great size and comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful stay. Bonn Abbey was all we expected and more. Katie, who I liaised with was exceptional. The house was great. My only suggestion would be heating and or underfloor heating in the en-suite bathroom:)

Perfect Relaxing Getaway
Bonn Abbey is a beautiful property and perfect for a small group escape. We loved sitting outside and watching the sun rise over Broke mountain and the mist rolling across the adjacent farms. Katie was wonderful to deal with, very prompt in responding and a great help. There's plenty of space as well if you want some alone time from the larger group. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!
