"We spent a family Christmas here and weren’t disappointed. The property itself is large enough for 9-10 people comfortably, with lots of space. The village is wonderful, very quaint, with some superb country walks, but not too far from Dorchester or Yeovil.The only issues we had were with some of the mattresses in some rooms being too soft, but that’s down to personal preference.Overall, would highly recommend."

Lovely gardens to explore and the hot tub was a definite plus later at night! This property is so peaceful and with stunning views, yet only a 10 minute drive from Bridport"

The drive down the 1 mile track to the property was a bit daunting at first as I don't like heights. Beware the potholes. Both coast and countryside in the local area is stunning. "What a wonderful home to stay in. This is just the most cozy, warm, cottage imaginable. It lacks for nothing. The house is on a lovely farm with great walking areas. Pete and Bev are superb hosts, and were happy to offer whatever we might need, while not being at all intrusive. "Photos and description don't do it justice. What an absolute delight and beyond. Furnished like a show flat but it's the little detauls that really make this: the cotton buds/pads in the bathroom, cereals in the cupboard, milk and yoghurt in the fridge... But also the often overlooked items in reviews like the shower - great pressure and heat, towels were big, fluffy and robust, more than enough hangers in the wardrobe.... One of the best apartments I've ever stayed in "
