Porch off of kitchen
Enjoy the 600 square foot deck off of the main kitchen facing the woods. Big outdoor seating area, table, and huge gas grill to feed the crowd.
Main Living Room
Our favorite spot in the house! Huge open room, tons of windows, gorgeous views, wood burning fireplace, opens to dining room and kitchen.
Patio under the A-Frame
We are willing to bet this may be the best spot in the Shenandoah Valley for a morning cup of coffee and for stargazing at night. Also a great place to cozy up and watch a rainstorm.
Basement
Great hangout area for kids of all ages! In the basement you'll find a ping pong table, foosball, smart tv, variety of games, a handcrafted bar (built with white oak harvested from the build site) with two different counter seating areas, and a bar lounge area. There is also a futon for sleeping if you need the room
Basement level patio
Step out from the basement onto the covered patio and soak in the comfort and tranquility of the surrounding woods. Cozy outdoor patio set and sealed porch above. Ideal for watching wildlife

- if you are looking for super high speed internet you've come to the wrong lodge! :) However, we are thrilled that our internet has been reliable thus far and we can successfully stream movies from the TVs or our phones and stay connected if we wish to. We cannot guarantee internet speed due to the rural location.
-Our lodge sits partially in the woods so you may encounter bugs now and then...just part of the great outdoors.
-We have a water softener but due to the (delicious and nutritious) nature of our well water you will often see spots on our dishes and silverware. Have no fear! It is clean just part of "country living". You may also on occasion notice a discoloration of water.
-You may receive a visit from our two pups (Jane and Barley). They are sweet and totally friendly. They are used to roaming the farm and occasionally come for a visit looking for new friends.
