This lovely post and beam home is conveniently located on the Pemaquid Peninsula and is perfect for those who want a stress-free and quiet vacation get-away. Privacy abounds this property and is just a five minute walk to Calf Island on tranquil Boyd Pond where you can enjoy the wildlife while sitting on the dock, swimming or enjoying a kayak or canoe ride. This is a perfect place for those who love nature and wish to get away from the busyness of everyday life. We are a short drive to Bristol's wonderful saltwater beach, Pemaquid Point, Fort William Henry and the quaint and lovely downtown of Damariscotta. Bristol is centrally located in coastal Maine for day trips throughout the region. Boat trips to Mohegan Island, whale and puffin watches can be found in New Harbor which is just minutes from Bristol. We are approximately 40 minutes from Booth Bay Harbor for those who want to spend a day in this beautiful harbor town. The home has two bedrooms and a loft that can accommodate 5 people comfortably. There is a queen bed in one bedroom, two twin beds in the second bedroom and a full size pull-out sofa in the loft. There is a fully applianced kitchen, a full bath and a living area with a gas stove. A large deck and a private screened porch are part of this wonderful property to enjoy the peaceful Maine evenings. This home awaits your arrival.

Great vacation home!
This is the 4th year we have stayed and loved it! The new chairs in the living room area were a great addition. The property inside and out was clean and well maintained. This is also close to my parents’ house, and close to Damariscotta, the lighthouse, restaurants, and of course the water. We will be back again next year!

Really enjoyed our stay at this cabin in the woods. It was a lovely setting with pond and nearby trail access. It was close to our family and favorite places in Bristol, Chamberlain and Pemaquid.

Wonderful Cabin in a quiet location
We had a great stay at this lovely cabin located near many things, but with peace and quiet surrounding it. The owners were great and let us use their kayaks and canoe to enjoy the nearby large pond. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

This cabin style house was perfect for us and our grandchildren. Just minutes from the beach and restaurants. House was very clean and very well stocked. It is in the woods in a very quiet neighborhood. We thought it was perfect.

Chsrming cabin set among beautiful Maine pines
Well maintained property with involved owners who take pride in this vacation home. It is convenient to restaurants and Maine's beautiful coastline. Our family of 6 found the indoor and outdoor living areas to be spacious and comfortable. We hope to return again soon.

Great family friendly rental
We had a great stay. Nice and private location with access to a pond (5 minute walk). I liked how it was centrally located on the peninsula so everything was only ever a 10-15 minute drive. Beds were comfortable, screened in porch for eating was awesome, and kitchen was modern and functional. Definitely check out the nearby LaVerna Trails if you stay.

We needed some extra space for my family to stay in town for Christmas - the cottage was perfect for my parents and brothers to have a comfortable cozy place to sleep. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. The location is very peaceful and quiet tucked away in the forest.

Lovely getaway
This property was perfect for our mini vacation. it is charming, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location is ideal for day trips to New Harbor, Damariscotta, and Round Pound. It was very quiet and afforded a lot of privacy. We loved the pond, even though it was too cold for swimming when we were there. The host was very responsive. Will definitely be back!

Great Getaway
Property was perfect for us. Convenient to many of the sights we wanted to see, i.e. Pemaquid Region & Lighthouse, Boothbay, Rockport, Camden, etc. Very quiet and peaceful. New Harbor, Round Pond were great places. Be careful going in/out of the driveway. Gully there may be cause you to bottom out/hit bottom of your vehicle. Boyd Pond was very pretty and quiet.

Cozy cabin in an excellent location
We stayed two nights here for a girls get together. Very private, clean and comfortable beds. The cottages location was perfect for us! Not far from Pemaquid beach and the town of Damariscotta. Also, a nice wooded trail to hike within walking distance. I would say that we were a little surprised to have to make our beds when we arrived. That was a first for us. Although there were written instructions on the doors, we found them very complicated to use. Other than those two issues, it was a lovely stay, and I would definitely recommend!

Fabulous spot
As described, this little gem is off the beaten path but close to Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor. We traveled to both places during our stay but also really enjoyed relaxing at the house. The boys went fishing three times and caught a ton of fish. We also had good luck frogging and finding toads was a real treat! The highlight was the eagle that swooped the boys and then landed in a tree right above them while they were fishing. My little one wants to make this a “thing” that we do every summer.
