This so called accommodation was by far the worst accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. We reluctantly stayed because we had no where else to go. From the start, the key was not available to pick up so we had to wait for someone to drop the key off and no linen/ towels were provided for 2 of the beds. When we walked in the unit was filthy, smelt of cigarette smoke, fridge was turned off and stank, there was no kettle, no cups, no cutlery and microwave was filthy. The bathroom was a bigger disaster with mould everywhere. We were not prepared to use it. Please note we’ve notified Fair Trading that this accommodation should not have been offered for use. The building is derelict and not fit for purpose. Your due diligence in offering this accommodation on your website is obviously nonexistent and it is deplorable that your organisation accept money for such a terrible product. We will never use Wotif again and will be letting everyone know of our experience. Do better!!

Not worth the money at all , apartment smelt like mouldy carpet I found out why the shower leeks all thru the bedrooms and it's till stench , the rooms I didn't allow my children to sleep in smelt like marijuana and filthy dishes had been stacked back into the cupboards I cleaned it all up and couldn't get on to management nobody was available

Nothing was likeable about this accommodation. It was filthy, dated, unsafe, rude staff. Camping in a sewer would have been better. I have so much more negative things to say about it but i just don't have enough time. Would advise anyone to avoid this place.

Very disappointed in the cleanliness.
The apartment was basic, which is what we were expecting. We were not expecting it to be dirty. Crockery was dirty, side tables had coffee ring stains, lamps dusty. The shower screen was filthy, the bathroom mirror had splotches all over it. A sign stated customers are expected to clean up after themselves (wash dishes, empty rubbish etc) which is fine, but you need to check that these things have actually been done. Just because crockery and glasswear is in the cupboard doesn’t mean it has been cleaned. These things to be checked before a new customer stays. I expect a self-catered apartment to be clean at the beginning of the stay. We left this apartment cleaner than we found it. Do we get paid a cleaning fee? Very disappointed in the cleanliness. The furniture was ok. Beds hard, couches sagging. This was a basic hotel in a quiet street in the back of Taronga/Indooroopilly. Nice gardens. Loud kids in the pool. The property needs some TLC.

There was hair all over the shower and the bathroom had mould all over the ceiling( a real health hazard) , the apartment smelt of urine and dirty feet, the lightening is very inadequate, with no lamps next to the bed, and the furniture needs to be replaced as most of it should be in the tip. It needs to be given a complete make over, with bright and clean household items, there was one coffee mug in the kitchen. The lounge was dark and dingy.

Apartment smelt musty and dirty. Carpet had stains, rubbish was left in kitchen bin, the bathroom door wouldn't shut as the door handle/lock wasn't turning at all. Couldn't connect to Wifi inside the apartment. Had to go outside to connect to Wifi. The gentleman at reception brought in a modem to connect in the spare room so i could connect to Wifi. He said it was his private/personnel modem, I said he would have to take that up with the manager as I was a paying customer and expected free Wifi as advertised on their website.

While the property was in a beautiful, peaceful setting, close to all amenities and a good price, the room we stayed in had dirty cutlery and crockery. I accept the property is an older place but there should still be an acceptable standard of cleanliness.

When the local/resident crack head was screaming for 3.5 hours it gets a bit much especially after a 7 hour drive, thankfully the music from the nearby pub eventually drowned his screaming out and we were able to finally relax a little. TV had no volume control so couldn't hear it very well and the claim they had foxtel was only half correct, only about % of the channels worked. The birds were amazing to watch and listen too but they all seemed to crap on our black car which was next to impossible to clean due to there being no hoses available. Overall we won't be back.

Please, do not go here. Yes, you can save money but I promise you that it is not worth it. Spend a tiny bit extra and go anywhere but here. It was disgusting. There is no way this building let alone the apartment, would get approved for people to stay there. It is beyond dirty, decrepit, crack den level bad. We did not sleep. We left so early because of what was happening in the room next to us and I’m not talking about a “fun night”. A child, spent so many hours not being treated well by adults. This is the politest way to put something that sounded awful. I myself had a child with me and I unscrewed the broom head so I could use the stick to lock the window closed as there were no locks and I felt so deeply unsafe. I will be asking for a refund. Absolutely appalling. This place needs to be knocked down immediately. Unsafe, unhygienic, uninhabitable.
