Cottage was ideal for what we were looking for - self contained, quiet, private, secure parking and great base for cycling both sides of the Loire and very quiet back roads. Very large garden space front and back was a bonus. All made it an excellent weeks stay. "

The house is close to Saumur which is lovely and has lots to see and do, including nice restaurants and is well located for visiting some famous historical sites like Chinon and Fontavraud Abbey. a very relaxing break."

"Myself and my family have just returned from our ten day summer holiday at Barbara’s wonderful quaint property. Barbara was more than accommodating from the moment we arrived to the second we departed, a truly fantastic host! "Nothing like the pictures when we booked. Very shabby accommodation. One indoor very crowded pool and No facilities on site, you have to go int Saumur which is a lovely city. You have to pay extra for bedding . Beds uncomfortable and furniture all very old. Definitely not worth the money. "
