"Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"I had a wonderful, relaxing weekend in Elisa's cottage. The location is stunning and so private. Kangaroos grazed around the verandah while i had my morning coffee. The cottage is cosy and very comfortable. Elisa has thought of everything you could need for some peaceful downtime. Highly recommended!"

Good location for those looking to head to The Bend racetrack about 15 minutes down the road. Would decibel stay here again. Only slight issue was the lack of WiFi. Not many places in 2024 that don't have it"

"We loved our stay in the Garden Suite at Gasworks Cottages. The cottage was perfect for the two of us, with such gorgeous gardens surrounding us. Our host Heather was excellent and made our stay wonderful. We loved meeting Jake the dog too! I'd recommend this place to others."
