"Lovely hotel, on entering reception it smelt and looked lovely. Bar and restaurant very modern, clean and comfortable. All staff very welcoming. We booked a deluxe room which had a large bed which was very comfortable, sadly this was let down by the very uncomfortable pillows. Bathroom was modern with a ‘rain shower’ ( ladies remember a shower cap), only slight issue with mould around bottom of shower screen. Overall a very nice hotel and we would definitely stay again."

"WiFi had to be set up by Katie who was really helpful. Very comfy quiet room good dark curtains. Unable to turn on hot tap at basin. Shut the door as the steam from the shower sets off the smoke alarm - but then you cannot see anything in the mirror. Tv signal constantly on the blink. "

"Greeted with a smile from the receptionist on checking in. She gave us all the relevant information related to our stay; restaurant opening times, leisure facilities and directions to our room. Room was clean and comfortable. Bar area was great, good selection of drinks, food served all afternoon and I presume into the evening too although we ate in the restaurant after 6. All the staff were pleasant and friendly! I would stay here again and hopefully use the pool as we didn’t this time. "

"Great location, immediately off junction 29 of m1. Yet it’s quiet, w a gentle hum of traffic. Much better than a high street hotel where you get noisy passing traffic. "This is a pub with an incredible range of cask beers (10) mostly from the Lincoln Green Brewery. The 3 I try ed were excellent. The hotel (pub) has a faded grandeur feel and is basic. This suits me down to the ground. They do not do breakfast so we went to Tesco opposite which has a good cafe. The ensuite room was clean and tidy and met our needs well. It is up two flights of stairs though, no lift, and is a rabbit warren. Parking is on street. Overall I liked it but posh it is not."
