And most of the place we visited were only 30 mins drive away. Abbevile close with great train links to Paris where we spent a great day and Amiens just over an hour drive Was about 1 hour 30 mins drive to visit the world war 1 memorial sites, well worth the drive. "Despite it being very low season and most of St Valery sur Somme being shut for annual holidays, we had a lovely time. We were aware beforehand that this was the case. We have stayed at this lovey Gite before and it was fabulous then. Situated in the heart of the town it has beautiful views over the bay and is a lovely cosy fisherman’s cottage. Great facilities and beautifully clean. The check in was as easy as always and we hope to stay again. Thank you."

"We have just returned home from a wonderful 5 night stay in Beussent. The village is lovely and peaceful with a lovely stream running through. The house itself was great, a little small upstairs and I did feedback that they should advertise bedroom 2 as interconnecting. This is ideal for families with smaller children but with 3 teenagers - not ideal. The downstairs space and garden was perfect. We visited Montreuil many times and beautiful Le Touquet. Would 100% return and the weather was HOT!"

"We have just enjoyed a wonderful 3 day stay. The property is brilliantly located in the middle of town with restaurants, shops and bakery all within a couple of minutes. A great base for exploring the local area. The property is well equipped and very comfortable. There is paid parking near the property. Our elderly uncle did find the stairs very steep so the house is not very suitable with those with limited mobility."

"Ideal location for the good quality golf courses in the area. Whilst this is a good property there were a few areas that we thought could be improved on. We arrived on a Sunday evening and shops are closed in France. A welcome pack with a few essentials would be appreciated. Listing on VRBO advised that towels were provided, none in the gite, not even a tea towel for drying up. Outside areas could do with a tidy and the grass cut and patio furniture requires a clean or an upgrade. On a positive,...
