"I stayed for 1-2 night stays on 3 consecutive weeks for business, staying in a different suite on each occasion. The rooms are really comfortable and ideal for a self-catering stay with quick meals (microwave etc). The rooms also have a minibar and snack selection with price list attached which whilst I didn’t use, was a very thoughtful addition. I found plenty to watch on the telly though couldn’t the regular channels. The shower was great and much appreciated after long days, as were the beds....

"The night we endured was terrible, it smelt of faeces all night, loads of people coming in and out shouting, it sounded like someone tried getting in our door around midnight, the shower was contaminated, I wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t a case of legionella within the water, the bed was very uncomfortable and didn’t feel secure, the sink had no plug, and Unknown marks left on walls, 1/10 would not recommend "

"We wanted to find a pub with good food and close to Rutland waters to go biking. We stayed at the Fox and Hounds in Exton for 2 nights. It is situated next to a beautiful grassy square of big, mature trees. Big, safe parking area. The pub area is gorgeous, lovely big fireplaces, variety of seating. The dining room is really beautiful, full of character and the food is absolutely delicious. This is all down to the publican’s lovely Greek wife who is also the chef.
