The Cozy Cabin....Walk to Brighton ski slopes!

This incredible log cabin is nestled among the huge pine trees of Brighton, Utah. It is surrounded by by the beautiful Wasatch mountains, which make skiing and snowboarding in the winter extremely amazing. Brighton Ski Resort is 10 minutes walking distance, and Solitude Ski Resort is only a 5 minute drive. The snow up here is the greatest snow on earth! The Nordic Center is a 5 minute walk, and offers snow covered trails for cross country skiing or snow shoeing in winter, or hiking in the summer. Silver Lake is located here at the Nordic center, and offers amazing hiking trails, and great fishing in the Summer and Fall. Trout abound in this beautiful mountain lake, and is only a 5 minute walk. The cabin itself is secluded, and off the main road. It is totally remodeled recently with no expenses spared. All is new inside and out with the exception of the two story fireplace, and the full log walls. This beautiful cabin is full of charm. There is nothing more cozy than sitting in front of the fireplace on a frosty winter day.
Just a fun fact....The cabin was featured in the #1 rated Hallmark Christmas/holiday movie of all time. It's called "Christmas Under Wraps", starring Candace Cameron Bure'. Watch it before you stay here!
Moose and deer are a common sight right outside of the cabin as well as over at Silver Lake.

Great location for Brighton Skiiers
We couldn't get over how convenient the cozy cabin was for our family. We had a great time on the mountains everyday and came how to rest at the cabin. It was perfect!

Cozy cabin - the name is 100% correct!
We had a fabulous stay at the cozy cabin ... it was the perfect place to return after a day of hiking or skiing. We loved the large table for games and puzzles after a meal and our whole crew was delighted by the bedding! This truly was a cozy gem!

A Dream Cabin
Our summer stay was wonderful! It's in a fantastic location just a couple minute walk to the lake, close drive to Park City or Salt Lake, great hiking close by, fully equipped with everything you need, and the beds are really comfortable!

Cozy mountain getaway
We are repeat guests at the Cozy Cabin and we LOVE it every time! It is a great getaway in a beautiful mountain setting. We saw nature in abundance this visit, including a Mama Moose with 2 babies, bald eagle, beavers, rock chucks, a bull moose and surprisingly a mink!

Wonderful family time in a beautiful area
The cozy cabin was a comfortable and relaxing way to have family time and be part of nature. We loved the close proximity to Silver Lake and walked around the trail every day. We also appreciated the lower cost than other cabins in the area. Loved it!

Awesome little cabin
The cozy cabin is very well situated and close enough to the Brighton lifts for walk/ski-in and ski home. It has a very well equipped kitchen and lots of comfy blankets for cozying up in the living room. The fireplace is a great bonus. We were a family group of 7 adults and although the cabin is small we never felt cramped. We hope to return next season!

Incredible week!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Cozy Cabin! The cabin is super cute and very well equipped with all that you need for a great stay. The location is fantastic as well! Meters away from Brighton and all that it offers, a few minutes from Solitude, less than 25-30 min from Park City, Eastern Salt Lake City, and Midway, there is no shortage of things to do and see. The communication with the owner was perfect and extremely helpful. We went off roading, white water rafting, mountain biking, rented UTVs, hiked, took in the Park City activities and managed to relax a bit as well. The location was perfect! We can’t wait to plan a winter trip to enjoy the 500”+ of annual snowfall!!!!

Perfect Brighton spot
Perfect location if you’re looking to ride Brighton. Nice size for a 5-6 people. Communication was great. Only issue was having 1 half-broken snow shovel for +40” inches of snow during my stay.

GREAT cabin in the mountains!
My family stayed in this awesome cabin for 2 nights and it was perfect! Wished we could have stayed longer. It is conveniently located by the Brighton Store and the Silver Lake trails, and is privately tucked back in an area that is not on the main road. We enjoyed s'mores by the fire and slept really well in the comfortable beds. The place was very clean and loved the cabin décor! Couldn't ask for a better place to stay in the mountains!!

Perfect, cozy little getaway in the beautiful outdoors
The cozy cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable home away from home. We have a disabled son, and it was great to have the feel of camping, but everything we needed to take care of him. It was also great to be able to push his wheelchair around Silver Lake! We will be going back!

The coziest cabin!
We loved our stay at this cabin! It was the perfect spot to ski/ride Brighton and Solitude. With the epic snowfall there were some challenges initially locating the cabin as the high snow walls made it hard to see from the road (it was hard to see the road!) Jami’s directions were so helpful. Cabin is fully stocked! It seems more like a home than a vacation rental. We made a fire every night with the provided wood. Beds were comfy and cozy. Yes, floors are cold so bring slippers if that’s an issue. We will definitely make a return visit for future Utah adventures!

Perfect Mountain Get Away
This cabin in Brighton exceeded all my expectations. It was the perfect setting to whisk away my grandchildren (age 8 - 10) and their parents for a few days. The cabin was cozy and so "storybook" ~ from the great stone fireplace to smallest details of a fishing reel to try in Silver Lake, the bikes provided and the closet full of games to play at night. Everything needed was provided in ample supply. The beautiful setting nestled in the Wasatch Mountains is perfect for families. We were there in October and great hiking was right out the door. It would be perfect for the ski vacation with two great resorts a stone's throw away. It was very easy to contact the owners with our questions. I would rent this place again in a heartbeat.

Great property but with construction annoyances
All interactions were great. The cabin is wonderful (except for no curtains on the main floor common areas; so if you need to leave your room to go to the bathroom you are visible to the construction workers and neighbors outside). The location is amazingly beautiful and very close to Brighton ski resort and silver lake. Due to road construction that we didn’t know about at booking we had to walk a few hundred feet to our car which was a long way in the rain with an infant, groceries and all of our stuff. We also had the water off unexpectedly for 9 hours which made it hard to get ready to go out or use the bathroom. Overall, I would definitely rent this property again. The kitchen as great. The living room was also beautiful with a working fireplace and plenty of wood.
