Brighton Woods - Ski In/Ski out home near Brighton Resort

As one of the few 5-bedroom cabins at Brighton Resort, Brighton Woods is the perfect place for your family's ski or summer getaway! Enjoy summer mornings waking up with sunlight streaming in, birds chirping, deer and moose grazing nearby, and clean mountain air, before heading out to take advantage of everything Big Cottonwood Canyon has to offer!

BEFORE YOU BOOK PLEASE READ
From November 1- April 15 please be aware that the Utah Department of Transportation and Town of Brighton rules about canyon travel require snow tires (3PMSF) or chains to make it safely up the canyon and to the home. Snow plowing on neighborhood roads is provided by local vendors and intermittent. Cottonwood Lodging does not have control over snow plowing. Please plan to check in by 8pm to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming and note that this home can accommodate ONLY 2 vehicles.

Winter Guided Arrival:
- At the request of the neighborhood to ensure that no one gets stuck or lost and disturbs the locals, a staff member will meet you on the main road and guide you to your property. Please plan to check in by 8pm to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming. Please do not arrive on your own even if you have stayed with us before. This keeps a positive relationship with the neighbors who appreciate it.

Brighton Woods is managed by local property manager Cottonwood Lodging Co. where the guest experience is most important. For information about the area and other services offered by Cottonwood Lodging please see our website.

great location and place
It was fully stocked with everything we needed like paper towel, laundry detergent, plenty of blankets and towels, etc. There was tons of space and it was not close to other cabins. The ski out is a couple minute walk uphill first but we found a path to ski directly in to the cabin. The rental company responded to texts within minutes prior to and during the stay and went out of there way to accommodate us. They mean it when they say 4 wheel drive and winter tires are required or you will for sure get stuck in the driveway since the cabin is a couple minutes of the main road

Great ski cabin!
Wonderful location and great communication with Cottonwood Lodging. We couldn't find the cabin at first because there was so much snow but Cottonwood helped us figure it out. Location is great, very close to Great Western Lift. Will definitely be back!

Brighton Mountain House review
As we made our way through the Canyon up the mountain, we realized this location would be ideal. The road getting to the house is a little sketchy, so make sure your car or truck has snow tires with 4-wheel drive, as it says in the property description. Communication with the property owner and the management company was ideal. The house has everything you need to have a great time. Make sure you stop at one of the grocery stores before traveling up the mountain to the house, as there are limited resources once you get there. There were 8 of us, and the house had plenty of space to accommodate all of us. We had a blast staying here, and it makes it even better when you get great snow during the stay. I recommend this house for those there strictly to enjoy what Brighton and Solitude resorts offer. Overall I highly recommend this property.

Anniversary Celebration
This property was excellently maintained and "kitted" out. It had everything needed - huge updated kitchen with bar (and 2 ovens); cozy sectional sofa; large dining table; well supplied bathrooms and bedrooms; laundry facility; even toys for kids and games for all. We spent most of our time on the patio playing games and eating - and would have used the firepit had there not been a fire ban. We would have enjoyed having a bit larger "yard" area to set up horseshoes. But that would not prevent us from staying here again - we loved it!

The perfect cabin
This was perfect place for our family to stay for our spring break snowboard trip. First off we definitely needed chains for our Yukon. We have 4x4 but we had to drive back down to the valley and get chains before we could make it to the cabin. Once we got to the place we were all blown away. Seriously, big place but not too big. We had lots of space to sit on the couch and watch movies. Everyone had there own beds, the kitchen was big and open and everything was up to date and very clean. We snowboarded 3 days in a row. The cool thing is it is definitely “ski in ski out” if you know where to go. This was a game changer for us because we could all take breaks throughout the day and then just head back down the slopes totally recharged. We also, loved the hot tub to loosen the muscles and relax after a long super day boarding. The manager was very helpful whenever we had a couple questions. The location was great and the accommodations were spectacular. Truly, this really was the perfect cabin for our family trip. Definitely will stay here again.

Great place close to Brighton
Had a great stay at the home! Was truly walking distance to the mountain and back. Home was super clean, well stocked with all necessities and property owner was very responsive to all messages and questions. If staying in the winter you will need a 4x4 vehicle, we were thinking that was more of a recommendation but it is 100% needed. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful family house
Brighton Woods is a lovely home near the Great Western lift of Brighton Resort. Access to the lift is easy, though the trails down from it are not for children or beginner skiers. The house is well laid out and well supplied. Management staff was very responsive and helpful for the few issues and questions we had. We’ll look at BW for our next trip to Brighton!

Fantastic!
We loved our family stay at Brighton Woods. Carole was so easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. We had five young grandkids who did not want to leave. The number and set-up of bedrooms were perfect, the hot tub and fire pit were major hits, and the location was just right. The house was clean and one of the best stocked we’ve stayed in. We’ll be back!
