Set above a stone archway, step inside and follow the staircase up into the open plan living area, where you have a well-equipped kitchenette, with a dining table where you can rustle up all of your favourite meals- Bridlington is the lobster capital of Europe and boasts some fabulous fresh seafood. In this room is a comfortable sofa in front of a large TV, making this a great social area. On this floor there is also a well-presented twin bedroom with its own en-suite. Stairs from the living area lead up to the mezzanine which offers a sitting area, with a large sofa bed. This versatile space can be used either as a room to relax away from everyone else, or the sofa bed can be used for flexible sleeping arrangements. The second floor leads into a modern shower room, leading through to the master double bedroom. The house is complete with a convenient utility space on the ground floor, with a washing machine and drying area.
The property takes its name from its history as both a print house and a warehouse for storage. It has been lovingly renovated throughout, with little touches as a nod to its varied past. The location is ideal for a seaside break, you are just a short stroll from the seafront funfair, the bright and inviting arcades, as well as an array of shops, bars and restaurants.
Bridlington is an historic coastal town and has been a popular tourist destination for generations. Nearby you have more of the incredible coastline to explore, including Flamborough, with its dramatic white cliffs, as well as an iconic lighthouse. Bempton, which attracts thousands of sea birds each year, has become a nature reserve where you can see nesting puffins and gannets, as well as the occasional seal in the sea below. The glorious golden beach at Filey stretches for over five miles which is a joy to visit. In Scarborough, as well as the beach you have the open-air theatre, the Sea Life Centre and the oriental gardens with paddle boats at Peasholm Park, as well as Alpamare Water Park and Spa.
For history lovers you have the nearby stately homes of Sewerby Hall and gardens, Burton Agnes and Castle Howard. For a day out, you are only an hour away from the medieval walled city of York, which is captivating, with charming, cobbled streets and a fascinating history. Maximum sleeps is four.
