Very few people in this town. Great views all around and fantastic day drives in every direction. Not a place for those that don’t like cold weather! Close enough to June Lake of Mammoth for eating and drinking.

"Very quiet and comfortable. Also, very clean for an older facility. The porches with the Riverview are a very nice bonus. One word of caution: the water in the shower can go from scalding hot to freezing cold with no warning."

On the edge of time and civilization. Fascinating history, uniquely American West. Surrounded by some of the most beautiful and geologically interesting terrain in the country. The whole area is a museum, both historical and geological.

Bridgeport is a quaint, small town. If travelling during the winter though, be prepared for very few food choices. Most places are closed.
