"the bed was a sofa bed although the mattress was ok every time we moved it made load squeaking noise the large entrance gates were attached to our outside wall so every time they were used it felt like the wall was moving and a very loud banging noise some gest returned after midnight some left early about 6 Am the location we good, only a short walk to the restaurants, and near the steps to the chateaux there was free parking in the street"

The apartment is beautiful and the views are fantastic. We loved Saumur and also took day trips to area castles and other sites. We ate at great restaurants in Saumur and loved shopping at the Saturday market. We would certainly go back!"

David was a perfect host, sorted out any issue we had (a minor one involving a problem with the washing machine) and couldn't have been a better host. The apartment is well equipped and functioned perfectly. It is a middle floor apartment which means there are stairs to reach it and there are people in the apartment above who keep their own hours. we love...
