Where to begin... The pictures do not do this cabin justice. It is so warm and lovely and spacious! John and Tracey were fantastic to work with. They responded quickly to any questions or requests. Our family of 5 - 2 adults, 16 yr old boy, 14 & 10 yr old girls - LOVED it! The kitchen was the very first kitchen we've come across where it really was completely stocked! Everything we needed was there, pots, pans, peelers, waffle iron - you name it. Just in case anything is missing - there is a Dollar General just up the street - very convenient! The dining area just off the kitchen was perfect for family meals. The loft was perfect for our 2 girls and our son loved having his own room downstairs while we took the master upstairs. The only issue we had was that you definitely can hear people walking upstairs when you are downstairs - but its a wood cabin so that is to be expected.
We loved using the fireplace to make our nightly smores while we all fit on the sofa to settle in for a movie on the large TV. The neighborhood was lovely, and while we generally like to be a bit more "secluded" - it didn't matter that there were neighbors to the side because there was no one behind us - except for a cute creek. Also, there are miles of trails within the community for hiking! We have stayed in many "cabins" in GA and NC and this will go down as one of our favorites! Kids are already asking to go back (as are the dogs)!
