"Nice hotel in a lovely and quiet part of town. Staff were very friendly. We did not eat in the restaurant, but had lovely cheese and meat in the bar after a late arrival. Breakfast was a little busy at times, but absolutely fine overall. Bergamo is a charming city with lots to see and Milan is close enough for a day trip by train."

"Property pictures was not the actual photos of the hotel. Rooms were above a bar on a noisy street. Bedroom didn’t have darking curtain's only a sheers which didn’t block the morning light. Bathroom sink was plugged with hair. Room was cheap and convenient to University and bus route downtown. "

"Nice room, great shower. Handy position for shopping and relatively near the station. The code worked okay and the only problem was at the room door as the handle didn’t work very well and it took us quite a few attempts to get the bedroom door open. Also the TV kept buffering "

"Not as advertised. Phoned to arrange check in but no one spoke English. Finally got a customer to translate who advised to come at 5 to check in (half an hour later than advertised). When we arrived the bar and restaurant were closed. Only one member of staff there who could not speak English which was advertised on the site. The room was very basic with outdated decor. "We stayed 2 nights at this lovely hotel. Full of character, warm and cosy on chilly weekend in March. The staff were friendly and helpful and were made to feel very welcome especially by Massimo on our arrival which was quite late evening. The small town of Calolziocorte is very pleasant and the location of the hotel by the river is lovely. "The breakfast was actually really good. They were still delivering to the room, which I actually quite enjoyed. My room wasn’t the best layout. Kinda cramped and the small TV was hilarious. But everything else was quite good. I even appreciated the little stool in the bathroom. I slept well. It may be in need a remodel, but for the price I paid, I was quite happy."

Just what we wanted

"The hotel is so conveniently located that we as many others, were able to walk from the airoport to the hotel in a short time. The receptionist was friendly and professional and gave us very good recommendations. We had a nice dinner at their cute restaurant and booked a shuttle for the next day very early flight. The hotel is modern with a very pleasant design, and very clean. The room was spacious with a big and comfortable bed and windows to a nice courtyard. The bathroom was also very nice. The next time we are flying from Orio al Serio to any destination we will for sure book a room at the NH hotel."

"The airport bus drops you right at the door of the hotel, the funicular to the old town is an easy five minute walk and the hotel is well-placed between the old and new town. Breakfast was lovely, there is a restaurant on the roof, it is pricey but the views are really fantastic and the food was delicious. The hotel is also a fifteen minute from Atalanta's stadium. "
