The charming country house directly borders the Kailbacher bay nature reserve area, with a fabulous view over natural meadows, forests and hills, as far as Ratzinger Höhe.
It has a first-class interior. The house flooded with daylight is really something special, with a charming design right down to the last detail: antique terracotta flooring, doors made of old wood, trendy furnishing and first-class materials contribute to a cosy atmosphere. The living space totals around 220m², with two living rooms with open fireplace stoves. There are three bedrooms each with a double bed. There are three en-suite bathrooms with a shower/WC and one with a bath/WC. HD TV, a Blu Ray player, DVD player, stereo system, telephone/fax, free wireless Internet access and a laptop are provided, as well as a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. There is a sauna in the cellar for the winter months.
The luxurious accommodation meets the highest of standards. The Chiemsee country house is the only holiday house in the lovely Chiemgau area officially awarded five stars by the German Tourism Association, which promises a stylish and relaxing holiday by the beautiful lake, Chiemsee.
The swimming area at Chiemsee is only a three-minute walk away. You walk through a little copse to the inviting bay with a fabulous panoramic view over the lake in the Chiemgau Alps. It is a true insider’s tip, used exclusively by the locals. From here there is a lakeside path, a couple of minutes’ walk, to the new lakeside beach with a café, kiosk and beach volleyball court. In Gstad less than 3km away you can take a steamer ride on Chiemsee or hire a boat to go to one of the nearby islands (Herreninsel with Herrenchiemsee Castle and the idyllic and romantic Fraueninsel with restaurants and beer gardens).
The house has a big, furnished, wooden terrace, a grill and a double car port. The site spans 700m². Two bicycles are available. Dogs are allowed on request.
