"Great place to stay on our trip to visit Colmar and other regional Christmas markets. We enjoyed the on-site restaurant upon arrival for an amazing meal. Our room was modern, clean, quiet, and comfortable (I might be too tall for the shower though). No issues except on one instance we detected cigarette smoke from possibly an adjacent room. Parking onsite was convenient for multiple outings. Nearby Carrefour Express was perfect for last-minute items. We also enjoyed the hotel breakfast for an added charge (well worth the cost). Overall, a great place to stay or stop for an exquisite meal."

"If you are staying in this hotel you must have dinner there, it was fantastic, husband had steak and I had pork, we are still talking about it now.... please note if your English they do not provide tea and coffee in the room but were kind enough to let us have a kettle... I take tea everywhere with me....lol"

"It was as advertised, great location between Colmar region and Black Forest. Spent mornings sunbathing on private patio, explored local (within 1 hour drive) places of interest, evenings out on the patio and in the huge hot tub. Although the swimming pool is next to the owners house, it was always just our family which was nice. Incredibly quiet location but only 10 minutes drive from local very well stocked large supermarket. Owners very helpful (suggested great places we might want to see which were places we did indeed find interesting) but not too intrusive. We would recommend this place for families and/or adult only groups. Of course you need to have a car (we drove down from Strasbourg but equally accessible from Basel airport)."

"What a lovely, comfortable, and convenient place to stay while visiting the area. We three ladies walked steps to the town square, shopped the grocery store and bakery, and walked the town wall. Sonja the host communicated promptly with us and gave us a warm welcome upon arrival. This location allowed us to travel easily to Colmar and nearby picturesque towns."

"Ich verbrachte 3 Tage mit meiner Mutter im Gasthaus zur Sonne. Mit dem gratis erhaltenen S-Bahn Ticket konnten wir Freiburg in 20 Minuten erreichen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Highlights: geräumiges Zimmer, sehr bequeme Betten, gute Parkmöglichkeiten, wunderbares Frühstücksbuffet. Negativ: laut knarrende Badezimmertür. Wenn jemand lärmempfindlich ist würde ich raten woanders Abend zu essen aber das Essen selbst war ausgezeichnet. "
