"Katie's guest house was ideally located and just right for us to see and dance our way through mardi gras this year. It was our first time in the area and we had fun exploring the Atchafalaya swamp, the dance halls and bars and the parades and celebrations for mardi gras. Our favorite Cajun band is Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys so we were in the right place at the right time! The only problem was which place to go because so much is happening all over, everywhere, at the same time."

"This was supposed to be a two bathroom situation and upon arrival one bathroom had no water in the toilet at all and the walking machine was taped closed to not be used. There was a broken lamp shade that was just hanging there, which ok no biggie but then there was a broken kitchen chair that was left that could have been potentially sat in and fallen out of.
