"My husband and I were in much need of a peaceful weekend escape. This little cottage was absolutely perfect in every way! It completely hit the mark! Anna the host even had fresh perfectly baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for us upon arrival! I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. We visited the nearby farmers market in Winnsboro and it too was so wonderful! We will definitely visit again! And hopefully many more! "The small home is very clean and had good air conditioning. That's always a plus in July. The lake access is small but we had enough room for our kayaks. The owners are very nice but they are close."

"We travel to the area regularly as we have family nearby. We've stayed in a half-dozen or so properties in the area. Without question, Wild Blue Yonder is so much our favorite that I'm a bit nervous writing this review (I want it to be available for our next trip!) WBY is convenient... just a couple of minutes off the highway BUT it is private with a wide-open feel. It was clean, well-provisioned, warm and welcoming, secure, and serene. My teenage son had dependable wi-fi, room to be alone...

"Stayed here with 5 other people fishing the Megabass tournament on lake fork. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Plenty of room to park boats. Paved roads to house so no dust."
