Cozy house in a great location!
I rented this home for over a week. Great location and close to the Branson Landing. Large fenced in backyard for my two schnauzers, who chased squirrels daily! Ha! When I’m back in Branson, this will be my first choice!

Hidden gem
Beautiful old stone cottage right off the main road in Branson just minutes from all the attractions. Despite being so close to the main strip, it still feels secluded because it is nestled behind a grove of trees. Large backyard with privacy fence provides lots of outdoor space. Large kitchen, two full bathrooms, washer/dryer, covered parking. Excellent place to stay if you're visiting Branson.

Just what we needed.
Eventhough the property is located next to a busy street, it is tucked in off a side street and the traffic did not bother us at all. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us, and the yard is fully fenced which was great for our pup. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms have closet space. Very nice, comfortable, spacious, and clean.

Location
No better location, 10 yards off the 76 strip. Unique remodeled100 year old stone house that was very clean and quiet except for traffic which doesn’t bother me. Great place for dogs because it has large fenced in backyard. It’s walking distance to a pizza joint and a great Mexican restaurant, La casa de Fuentes, I think is the name. We hope to be back.

Clean, well maintained, comfortable beds and pillows. Easy access to everything. Just off 65 on the strip. 10 minutes to Dicks 5&10 one way or the new Aquarium at the Boardwalk. So convenient. Great for families. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Branson 2023
Everything was great. If you stay in the king bedroom, you will hear some road noise. You won’t in the other two bedrooms. House was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The only thing I would suggest would be to change out the mirror that is in the bathroom between the two bedrooms. It’s decorative and very pretty, but not really functional. I am 5’4” and when I stood in front of it, all I could see was my forehead. I would prefer a mirror that I could use to put on my make up with. Not a dealbreaker. I would stay there again.

Upon arrival could not access property. Very difficult to get access door code from owner. Waited on hold with VRBO and they couldn’t reach owner either. Finally after 45 minutes to an hour the owner called us back with code. Property is lacking maintenance. Home is in good location close to everything.

Our Stay
The house is in a good location. It is close to everything on the strip. The backyard was nice for our dogs. The air conditioner was very noisy, ran constantly, and didn't cool enough, so the house was warmer than we would have liked, but it was a hot and humid week. Some things could have been a little cleaner, such as the gas grill and some closets with dog hair. TVs in all bedrooms were nice. Plenty of blankets, pillows, bedding, towels, etc. Elena did reach out to check on us a few days after arrival and provided suggestions of things to see and do, which was nice. She was very responsive when we had concerns and tried her best to figure out a resolution. We were disappointed that one day of our vacation was spent trying to resolve our problem, which resulted in us moving to a different vacation home. Our biggest issue was with VRBO. We will not be using them again in the future. Customer service was horrible. We were disconnected four times and spent hours on the phone trying to resolve our problem. We received different answers from each representative and were told an email was sent multiple times but took hours to receive. Overall, Elena did a good job of communicating with us and did what she could to help us. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at one of her properties in the future.

Good but Missing Comforts
The house was cute and charming. Location was convenient to highway and main strip however it’s in a more rundown section of the area. Traffic noise can get a little loud as well. Plenty of beds which we really appreciated but many were uncomfortable. And forget relaxing after a long day of touring the fun museums because the couches are horrible. The AC unit simply can’t keep up with the house or is possibly calibrated wrong. It was 85° outside during part of our stay and we could not get the house to cool down. Thankfully Missouri weather brought storms that night and it was 60° the rest of our week. We enjoyed the TVs, streaming and internet available. We did run out of toilet paper. I contacted the owner when we had half a roll left to see where more was stored and the housekeeper had to drop it off the next morning. Prompt response but I wish I’d known there was none on site because I would have let her know sooner. There are no samples of soap or shampoo or anything so don’t forget your own. Barely any spices in the kitchen. Only one pod for laundry soap. For the price of this rental, I would recommend adding a bit more personal touches and home like amenities. It’s not supposed to feel like a hotel. Overall, I’m still giving it 4 stars because it is a really good rental and my comments are not dealbreakers but for a family who’s stayed in dozens of VRBOs, this one is lacking in just that one hospitality area to really make it great.
