This is the Holiday Express at The Little River Railroad, in Coldwater MI. It has daily train rides as well as special occasion and holiday rides. They have a Christmas ride with Santa on board and a Halloween haunted ride that includes a pumpkin to name a couple.
The ride we took was complete with a visit to Mr. and Mrs. Clause, it was a lot of fun and the kids loved it! Check it out, it's pretty cool riding one of these old steam trains!

"Pros...the house is a nicely decorated rustic cabin. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our mixed age level family. Plenty of space for our large group. Beautiful scenery. "It was as expected for a CABIN. Updated bath was a plus. Usable kitchen although water pressure in the kitchen sink was minimal. Interior was clean and nicely furnished, steep irregular concrete walkways w/no handrails (no lights either) could prove problematic for Seniors w/mobility issues a/cawas nice (3rd week of July)"

"The cabin worked for a home base for us, but it was not what was pictured...not even close!! outside was nothing like the picture, cabin looked older. Upon arrival, kitchen sink was dirty, stove had obviously had something hot spilled on knobs that were melted and grimy, stove had no propane, we had to switch the tank over (they did refill it), they provide the charchoal grill as listed, but no utensils.
