"Great place to stay for Valentines day with good location. Lovely warm welcome from staff on arrival who showed us to our room. Stayed in room 5, gorgeous room which was very spacious.Cocktails were great and the food was delicious. Unfortunately we didnt sleep very well due to very hot room and faulty radiator. "We had a lovely stay here. So Christmassy but even other times of year so cosy felt homely. Reception was very welcoming room was decorated lovely and really felt like a retreat away from it all. Fires and Christmas trees . We ate in the restaurant and all the food was hot and delicious. Location was very central for village visits and walks it was tough to choose whether to go out for walks or just stay in the hotel and relax. We are already planning our next trip back"
