The town is terrible high street is nothing like it use to be. The good thing in Braintree is all the history like Bradford st. And all around town. Plus pretty villages around.

"Another good stay here, breakfast is OK bar of an evening is typically busy. Room was a bit tired and could do with a bit of a refurbishment other wise it’s a well positioned place to spend the weekend"
