"The grounds were gorgeous and the unit was just as described. It is incredibly quiet and peaceful and was a nice retreat to go back to at the end of the day. There were other amenities, like a gym but I believe they close the building fairly early so it can’t be used past 6pm. I would absolutely stay here again, should I be in the area. It was an incredible value for the amount paid. "

"Fantastic place to stay! So homey, comfortable, and peaceful. Steven was a fabulous host, and his property is wonderful - in a beautiful garden. The room is large and beyond well equipped. No reason to pay more to stay downtown Hudson. We’re on a month-long New England road trip, and this has been our favorite stay! "

Black Swan

"We booked this place for a one-night stay to check out the Berkshires. This was pretty much centrally located from everything we wanted to visit. We chose this place for the country feel rather than the big city type hotels. The place was a little outdated but had the more of a home feel. There is some updating due there, but it wasn't a disappointment. We will book again when we visit the area to go hiking. Plus, the lake view was ok, and the water looked very clean. I will say this is an excellent spot if you're an outdoor person for fishing. Kayaking etc. "
