Nightmare

I’m amazed that VRBO allows this bullshit on their website, this host has multiple boats, and I’m quite sure they’re all derelict vessels, advertised as docked in a boat slip but was moored out in the bay, had to run a noisy generator for power, not to mention the bathtub looking dinghy with a dilapidated trolling motor to get there

Not as advertised

The boat was not in a marina, it was floating in a bag. No communication on how to actually board, as the host stopped communicating at 2 in the afternoon after multiple attempts to contact them.

Warning! Not what you’d expect.

Not as described, not a legal place to stay. Both toilets were clogged and didn’t work, no smoke detector, no carbon monoxide detector, no working appliances, no water, black mold, exposed wiring, smelled like human waste and smoke. Boat is unsafe to stay. Wet floors, stained sheets and blankets, no gas in generator. Boat captain of taxi crashed into boat several times and admitted he didn’t know how to drive a boat. I attempted to contact owner, she would not talk with me to resolve, only slowly respond to chats. Would not refund even partial of stay. Left after 1 night. Have stayed in many VRBOs and aboard boats, never seen anything like this, this description doesn’t do justice to the experience I had with my daughters. I looked at other boats they also manage, they also looked in terrible shape.
