A great traditional country gastro pub with rooms.
Great food, well kept ale & nice accommodation in a pretty village. Staff super friendly. What more could you ask for?
Fantastic staff that went out of their way to make our stay excellent. Kept kitchen open for us so we could eat after arriving late, lovely treats for our kids and lovely comfy rooms. Will definitely stay again.
The Crewe Arms is a fabulous pub in a beautiful village .The staff were very friendly and helpful .The food was amazing and the room we had was lovely and comfortable.
Very pleasant two night stay. Room was nicely decorated and clean. Had everything we needed.
Landlord of the pub was very helpful and the food is the pub was first class.
Situated in a quaint little village so very quiet
Perfect location, gorgeous food and fantastic service......they have it all in spades!
Stayed a couple of nights and already trying to find a reason to be back up that way so I can book again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Really nice looking room, however just needs some TLC, especially the shower extractor which was filthy.
Staff just told me where the room was and didn’t explain anything especially how to turn the shower on.
Really quiet at night and had a great sleep
Lovely two night stay for a friend’s wedding in nearby Brackley. Mark and Zoe were excellent hosts. We were made to feel welcome and the food and drink selection in the bar are superb. Five minute drive into brackley or a £15 taxi.

Nice area. Welcoming and friendly staff, nice pub and dining. Room was clean. Parking a little difficult on arriving, Wi-Fi ineffective and no breakfast option.

Excellent stay. Good value for money. Great food and service. Bed very comfy, quiet room and free tea/coffee/biscuits/mineral water. Staff very pleasant. Family run. The sink in the bathroom was badly cracked and the shower grouting old. Dog friendly. Would definitely be pleased to stay again.
With only two rooms available, having them clean and presentable shouldn’t be a problem.
However, I had soiled sheets - which although I was assured were definitely clean (the smell tells me they weren’t), they were only changed at 11pm that evening. Not great.
The bathroom was also smelly and unclean.
The walls are very thin, so you also aren’t going to get much sleep.
That being said, if you like gossip, you’ll hear plenty of it from the owner in the bar.
I would spend the extra couple of quid and stay elsewhere in future.
