"This house is certainly unique. The stained glass and original woodwork is beautiful. While it is easy to appreciate the historic significance of the home, it is not a comfortable place to stay. The beds are horrible. Cheap, crunchy mattresses. Pillows and bedding are awful. The towels are old, stained, and smelly. "Homestead 1810 was a little home away from home. It is equipped with everything we needed as a family of 4 and more. It was clean, orgnized, nicely decorated, has the old farm house charm. The garden was beautiful as well. Having a washe and dryer on-site were a plus since part of our stay in PEI was for a sport tournament, we needed to wash those clothes multiple times. "My two adult daughters and myself stayed in this house for a week. we found it close to the boardwalk, an easy walk to the centre of town and in a very nice neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. I would have liked to know that it was a duplex before we came (we never heard anything from the people below) and there was mold in the tub/shower. "Lovely 3 night stay!! Check in was a breeze. Apartment spotless and so well appointed. Had everything we needed. Loved the view of the Charlottetown Harbour and watching the Cruise Boats come in. Great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing/golfing. And Doug was right there to answer any questions and help us with a tv incident. "Our family stayed in this beautiful cabin during yhe Christmas holidays. We enjoyed every minute of it. The interior is very pristine and squeeky clean. All the things that we need are already there. You won't need anything else. The kitchen has all the utensils that are necessary. Our kids love their rooms. The bathrooms are very clean.
