"The:- Hotel; ; Outside view very good; internally clean & tidy; all surfaces clean to touch; carpets in good condition. The food & drink were all excellent. Service from staff was exemplary! We had booked & paid well in advance. Our assigned Room was "Crows Nest"! which turned out to be at the very top of the hotel up a narrow, steep, winding staircase to an attic with a very good en-suite, but otherwise a boys room with a collection of miscellaneous boxes serving as storage/tables and odd bits...

Before we went we were not made aware that this hotel is primarily booked through HF holidays who offer walking and biking holidays so we weren’t expecting to have to eat at communal tables no individual tables you’re expected to sit at big tables full of strangers."

"Beautiful room in a wonderful old building. The room And bathroom was spotless, with an easy to use shower. We arrived very late at night and the host was available to direct us to our room in the court yard. Thank you"
