"Upon arrival, they allowed us to check in early which was very nice as we were exhausted. We were shown to our room which was spacious and had its own bathroom. After a couple hours nap, we walked around the house to check out the property which was unkept. I don’t know if they maintain it better in the summer, but going at the end of the “off season” it was looking a little rough. Come bed time, it was very cold in our room. There were radiant heaters but they didn’t work. My husband is usually very warm and he was even shivering when he had to get out of the bed. They definitely had a fire going in the main part of the house as it smelled smokey when we went to check out. Also, at around 10:30pm whomever lives next to the room we were in, turned a TV on with the volume quite high. This kept us up until about 2:15am when it was finally shut off. So overall, some good, some not so good. We won’t be back."

"The family room with one double and two singles was perfect for the four of us. There was a bar outside of our window, but the windows did a great job of blocking the light and sound. Everything was clean, our only wish would have been that the bathtub had to stop her so we could use it. There was also a decent breakfast that was included, which seems pretty rare in Italy."

"We booked Villa Clodia Relais for our September 2024 wedding, and it was truly the most magical weekend of our lives! Leonardo, Letizia and Charlotte were so welcoming and accommodating of my husband, myself and our guests and the venue was the perfect destination for an Italian wedding. The food was absolutely delicious and the ceremony and reception looked so beautiful against the backdrop of the Italian countryside. Villa Clodia is an amazing place to stay if you are in Manziana or visiting Rome. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the facilities throughout the venue are great for hosting special events. We also loved the pool, set on the Villa’s beautiful deck, where us and our guests spent much of the weekend relaxing.
