"The rooms were recently renovated and everything was nice. I would have been happy to have a kettle in the room for making a cup of tea, and also the lights in the bathroom were so dim that I could not do makeup. The whole lights system was rather difficult to grasp - too much light, then too little, then the bedside lamp would not light... and then it did not turn off. "

Would have been nice to have water in the room but complimentary water was available downstairs. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Arthur. While this property is older, everything we saw was clean and well maintained. The room was smaller, but big enough for the two of us. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good, with options familiar to Europeans, Brits and North Americans. The Karelian pastries with egg butter were a fantastic find. And the location is ideal. If you are here to see Helsinki, on your own dime, this is an excellent place...
