"BEST VALUE IN TOWN WITHOUT COMPROMISE"

The property is positioned close to historic Milton Park and walking distance to Bong Bong Race course.

A perfect place for family reunions, golfing events, wedding guests, girls weekends or any other event where many bedrooms are required.
Offering space (set on 2 acres) and privacy and still only 5 min drive to town, complimentary WIFI.

Sherwood Park is a large, beautifully furnished home in outstanding condition with 6 bedrooms and numerous living areas set on a magnificent 2 acres of landscaped lawns and gardens. Adjoining is a 50 acre reserve with wonderful walking tracks and rural views.
The single level, fully air conditioned, 6 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom design is both luxurious and with lots of cosy character for you to rug up with a glass of wine in front of the slow combustion wood heater.

There are 4 living areas:
* family and dinning for 12 off the large country kitchen, with slow combustion
wood heater (wood supplied)
* a formal lounge with gas heating, television and DVD player
* a sunroom
* a huge north facing covered patio furnished BBQ area with views across the gardens


Almost every window and each of the 2 sundrenched verandahs have views over the home's gardens.

The large country kitchen has a modern granite countertop, smeg appliances.

The kitchen is equipped with full sets of quality crockery and cutlery, microwave, stove, fridge, dishwasher, electric frypan, BBQ tools, toaster, kettle, champagne and wine glasses.

A complimentary continental breakfast is supplied for your first morning together with tea & coffee. There is also a cappuccino coffee maker.

There are enough quality beds to comfortably sleep 13 people. Each room is private and has views of the gardens.

* The main bedroom with bay window and ensuite is huge with a queen size bed,
3 seater lounge and TV.
* There is another huge queen size bedroom with it's own toilet and vanity with
access to the rear patio and garden.
* There are 2 extra double bedrooms and also 2 more with single beds.

The roomy laundry contains a washing machine. There is a clothesline in the backyard.

Outside, there is a sun-filled north/east facing very large covered patio including B.B.Q and outdoor furniture overlooking the fishpond and gardens. The gardens themselves are safely fenced and a wonderful place for adults and children to explore there is also a set of swings. You may even spot a couple of rabbits!

Visit the many excellent restaurants and alfresco cafes, just 5 minutes drive or cycle into town via the safe cycleway that traverses around Bowral.

Sherwood Park is ideally situated near 6 of the most scenic drives to Berrima, Bunndanoon, Robertson, Burrawang, Kiama and Kangaroo Valley.

Explore the Highlands wine trails.

Enjoy a game of golf at one of the many golf courses nearby.

Have a refreshing swim at the olympic pool in town.

Bring your pushbikes for an invigorating ride along the many bike tracks around and beyond Bowral or simply enjoy a morning walk along the scenic bush trails in the adjoining 50 acre reserve where you are likely to enjoy the sight of a kangaroo or two not to mention the abundant bird life, or simply relax in the peaceful private environment that Sherwood Park provides.

A Perfect Stay!
This house had everything we needed for a few old friends and their families to get together for a wonderful weekend in the country. The house was spotless, roomy, and provided great breakfasts, and the outdoor areas were huge and perfect for kids games.

Great Group Stay
We loved our stay at Sherwood Park, the house was perfectly set up for our group and everyone agreed we'd happily return for another stay in the near future. Annual get together
Sherwood Park is the perfect venue for the annual get together of a group of friends of a certain age. Plenty of space and a very efficient fire which was vital on a cold wet weekend.

Large and inviting home set in a quiet, country location
Sherwood Park easily accommodated our extended family for a special event. We appreciated the spaces available allowing everyone to mingle or find a quiet spot as needed. The breakfast provided was welcomed by all and the kids were loving the welcome cake! A quiet country location just a few minutes drive to Bowral and the villages of the Southern Highlands. Seven adults and four children, all had a wonderful two night stay.

A welcoming and warm place to stay
We arrived to find the fire alight and warming the house nicely on a cold July day. It is quite large and the eleven of us (eight adults and three children) fitted in quite nicely. The kitchen is well equipped. The yard outside looked inviting, but it was too wet for us to take advantage. All in all, a great place for a family stay.

Ideal for Group Reunions
Our group of 8 seniors enjoyed Sherwood Park for their yearly reunion. The property allowed relaxing socialising with friends and the well equipped kitchen and dining areas were a bonus for self-catering. Property manager Olga was easily available to attend to a few minor issues.. all resolved quickly and courteously. We would certainly recommend Sherwood for groups similar to ours.
