"Good standard hotel in calms surroundings with short walk to Grand Place. Comfortable bed. Gym closes early on weekends, which is a minus. No access to sauna but to a lukewarm splashing pool and a small yakuze which is busy most of the time."

"The room was very clean and spacious. The staff was also very accommodating and friendly, especially Mohammad. Mohammad also provided recommendations on where to eat for dinner. They did a great job, which helped us to truly enjoy our stay. "

"Chambre propre et agréable en soit. L'isolation de la chambre pas au top on entendait la télé d'une autre chambre L'eau de la douche n'était pas très chaude. Salle de sport pas accessible car les machines ne fonctionnaient pas dommage. Sur le site hotels.com cela nous dit qu'il y a une piscine intérieure au final plus de piscine juste une extérieur mais pas chauffée. Mais la dame de l'accueil gentille et agréable."

"I'm vacating my apartment in mons so have been staying at a number of local hotels. Stayed in room 113 for a week. My only negative is no aircon which would be a nightmare in the summer, they do supply a big noisy fan. Perhaps B&B who are new owners will install aircon? Other than that it was an excellent stay, free coffee downstairs 24/7 and a room with a bath. We didn't bother with breakfast as plenty of shops/cafes in Mons. Very comfortable bed, i slept very well. Would recommend the B&B...

"WE have stayed here a couple of times. The hotel is modern and comfortable. There is also a Spa which seems to be very popular. There is a lively scene in the bar and restaurants which seemed to be used a lot by locals . It is south of Brussels and about a 40 min drive to the airport depending on traffic."

"Ideal for an overnight stay for early flight out of Charleroi airport, with a shuttle service to and from airport. Clean, comfortable and decent value. Small Italian restaurant 5 minute walk away was outstanding too."

"Second time staying here and it is a nice hotel to stay at with the family if you have a family room as the kids have there own section. Unfortunately when we arrived the bed was broken. But the receptionist was nice and gave us a room accross the hall for me and 1 child. While my wife and the other kid stayed in the orginal room until the bed was fixed the next night. Overall is a very nice place to stay while we visit other areas of france/belgium"

"For the price the room and facilities were great. The room was large with an adjoining bathroom which had a separate toilet. The bathroom was huge with a double sink. The art deco theme runs through the hotel and it is very beautiful in the bar restaurant area. Food must be good as it appeared to be all locals eating there. "Nice rustic hotel. Room very spacious and full equipped Location is good Cleanest is good Reception is good. The only problem was the shower door which was very difficult to open and close - must be fixed. Special thanks to Suzanne for instructions. Room 1002 WiFi is ok Because of that 4*. I hope it helps. "My wife and I are usually very careful when it comes to booking a holiday but somehow this one got under the radar! We thought we had a bed not a bed settee, we thought there was a fully fitted kitchen, there wasn't, we thought we could use the lake, we couldn't as it was closed, I expressly asked twice if I could bring a kayak but had no reply, nor were we told the lake was out of action due to Algie, we also didn't know that pretty much absolutely everything else was extra, TV, Wifi, swimming,...

"Lovely old building with pleasant grounds but the unit lacked a great deal. Firstly, no air conditioning on a 34 degree day is a huge problem for anyone. We had to ask for a fan and leave windows on ground floor open all night in order to get some kind of sleep. NOT IDEAL for safety. Kitchen facilities were lacking, no chopping/cutting board, no sharp knife to cut anything, no microwave heating bowl, slow oven top, no egg spatula or tongs, no toaster. "I'm currently preparing to vacate my apartment in Mons after a few years working in Belgium. Stayed Saturday night at the B&B Mons Gare room 207. The young man on reception was incredibly helpful, Joffrey. Our room was very large with a bath. There were a couple of wedding parties in but we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was fine with some hot options for us Brits. I never used the hotel when it was run by IBIS but would recommend. We didn't have a car but the car park looked easy to use. Not in the best part of Mons but we know the area well."
