• Situated at 2000 meters, Arc 1950 is the 5* resort of Les Arcs. 'The Arc 1950 Village' which is built in Savoyard style is a beautiful setting.
• Charming, car-free village with underground parking, with the colourful overtones of Tremblant and other North American resorts as it was built by the Canadian company, Intrawest.
• Les Arcs consist of the four resort areas Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000. They are linked to La Plagne via the double decker Vanoise Express cable car which gives access to La Plagne to form one of the largest ski areas in France – Paradiski (Les Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry/la Plagne).
• The Paradiski area has more than 425 km pistes and a glacier - the area has something for everyone.
• The ski area is a high altitude area between 1200m and 3520m, and with 70% above 2000m you are highly likely to have plenty of snow during the season.
• The village also provides an abundance of other winter activities, including off-piste skiing, snowshoeing, and sled-dog rides.
• Our lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, which has accommodation on 2 floors, is located on the top floor of the Auberge Jerome residence in Arc 1950.
• The apartment is spacious, 71m2, luxuriously furnished and has a lovely mountain view looking out to Bois de l'Ours piste.
• Auberge Jerome has ski-in, ski-out access, ski lockers, lift and free use of the relaxing spa facilities including steam room, sauna, and small outdoor (heated!) swimming pool & jacuzzi and gym area.
• There is also a gorgeous Deep Nature Spa® Arc 1950 in the village (payable locally) offering a range of treatments and relaxation.
• The compact car-free Arc 1950 village has an excellent bakery, well stocked supermarket as well as a good selection of bars and restaurants, ski school, ski-hire shops, lift pass office.
• A free entertainment programme is offered each week.

• The apartment has three bedrooms but we only rent it for 6 people to ensure everyone has a full size bed and enjoys a relaxing holiday ie. we do not have anyone sleepng in the living area unlike many other apartment.
• Large balcony overlooking the ski slopes and with a view into the village with seating and table for 6 people.

Travel to Arc 1950:
• The Village Arc 1950 can be reached using the Eurostar snow train from London or Ashford to Bourg-Saint-Maurice followed by a taxi transfer or by using the funicular train with a short bus ride.
• The major airports of Geneva, Lyon, Chambery or Grenoble are within easy reach of Le Village Arc 1950.
• For those who drive to the village, there is secure underground parking at the village (visit resaplace.com to book – approx. 98€/car/week in the winter).
Summer in Arc 1950 :
• Nestled among the pastures and forests of the French Alps, Arc 1950 provides a beautiful and serene setting for summer vacations.
• Explore the mountains through hiking, horseback riding or mountain biking, quad biking and experience white water rafting, canoeing and fishing on the Isère river. You may even catch a glimpse of local animals like the ibex and chamois.
• During the summer the ski lifts are used to transport you and your bike to many paths and bike trails
• The resort offers various activities including golf, tennis, para-gliding to name but a few.
• The village puts on lots of free activities particularly for children eg. trampolining and table tennis.
