We propose to you to the hiring, on the commune of Bourcefranc-le-Chapus at the entry of the island of Oléron, this charming house classified 4* with a surface of 136 m ² and being able to accomodate to 9 travellers. It is composed of a nice living room of 23 m² (with fireplace), a veranda, a fully equipped kitchen, four beautiful bedrooms, five bathrooms and you can enjoy a garden of about 100 m². Wifi (fibre optic), sheets and towels included, we are waiting for you!

The accommodation is composed as follows:
On the ground floor :
- A living room of 23 m² with TV, fireplace (wood not provided), sofa with armchairs and dining area.
- A fully equipped kitchen with electric kettle, oven, microwave oven, toaster, dishwasher, hotplates, Nespresso coffee machine, electric coffee machine...
- An 8 m² veranda dedicated to a relaxation area with a small lounge.
- A laundry room.
- Bedroom 1: a queen-size bed (160×200) and an adjoining bathroom with shower and WC.
- Bedroom 2: a queen-size bed (160×200) and an adjoining shower room with shower and WC.
- A bathroom with bath and WC.
Upstairs:
- Bedroom 3: a king-size bed (180×200) and an en-suite shower room with shower and WC.
- Bedroom 4: a double bed (140×190), a single bed and an en-suite bathroom with bath and WC.

Exterior:
- A beautiful west-facing enclosed garden with trees of about 100 m².
- A terrace of 24 m² with furniture and a pergola in light wood to enjoy the beautiful days.

For even more comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: barbecue, high chair, baby bed, 2 fans, washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.

The house is ideally located in Bourcefranc-le-Chapus, in a very pleasant, quiet and not very busy environment. The location is ideal to get to the island of Oleron, 3 minutes walk from the bridge leading to it and 600 meters from a small cove unknown to tourists. You will be able to benefit from the proximity of all the essential shops but also boutiques, restaurants, bars, market, you will also find the best bakery in France "le fournil d'étienne" awarded many times (international competitions and winner of the show "la meilleure boulangerie" on M6 in 2015)...

Activities :
- Tourist sites: many beaches in the area (Oléron, Marennes Plage, La tremblade, Ronce les Bains, Royan, Port des Barques...), ILEO water park, Gataudière adventure park (paintball, acrobranche, quad, karting...), the train of the seagulls, touristic circuit of the vieux chapus, Ile d'Oléron...
- Sporting activities: various water sports (surfing, sailing, jet skiing, paddle...), fishing, walking or cycling
- Cultural visits: Château de la Gataudière, visit of the fort Louvois, visit of the oyster farm (Gillardeau...), visit of the fortified town of Brouage at 5km...

Transport :
If you choose to come by car, you will be able to park directly on the car park in front of the house (2 vehicles).

As for other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful to you:
- Nearest train station: Rochefort train station located at about 30 minutes by car.
- Nearest airport: La Rochelle-Île de Ré airport located at about 1 hour by car.

maison bien equipée pour 7 personnes mais l'emplacement n'est pas tres charmant ni tranquille : rue tres passante , voisins ( permanents ) tres bruyants . Curieusement, l'etat des lieux tres sommaire etait fait avant notre arrivée, et l'etat des lieux au depart ,identique a l'arrivée,a été modifié apres notre depart, ce qui nous a valu une retenue sur la caution, pratique pour le moins douteuse . Dommage .

La propreté du logement est moyenne. 2 chambres donnent sur la route (circulation le matin) Problème de chauffe eau (absence d'eau chaude durant 2 jours). Par contre la personne qui nous a accueilli et s'est débrouillé avec le technicien pour l'eau chaude est très disponible, ponctuelle et très agréable. Sinon salle de bains et wc pour chaque chambre, ce qui est très apréciable.

Maison agréable et bien équipée en bord de route fréquentée
La maison était bien équipée et agréable. Nous avons été un peu déçus de la taille du jardin et de l'immédiate proximite d'une route très fréquentée car menant à Oléron, à 50 cm des fenêtres des 2 chambres du RDC. Une chambre à l'étage donne aussi sur la route. Nous sommes en revanche très en colère vis à vis de l'etat des lieux, rempli à notre arrivée en moins d'une minute sans nous laisser le temps de nous poser. La concierge en a profité en fin de séjour, après nous avoir assuré que "tout allait bien" pour ouvrir un dossier de retenue sur caution pour des serviettes qui étaient déjà tachées de javel à notre arrivée ainsi que des motifs étonnants tels qu'un "bol taché". Le gestionnaire nous a ensuite retenu 50€ pour ce motif mensonger malgré nos dénégations et le trop perçu de taxe de séjour ne nous a toujours pas été rendu 3 semaines après la fin du séjour.
