An old hotel with a lot of character. The room was clean and had a nice view of the water. The restaurant and bar were outstanding! The staff was great. There is no elevator, so stairs are a thing, but not bad. Parking is across the street. The bar has a Cheers vibe for sure! We had a great time.

Large, well-appointed room with corner views of the ocean. Bar/restaurant had a definite local feel - lots of neighborhood regulars. Only curious thing was a big sheet of weathered plywood leaning up against the front entrance. Removing it would spruce up the entrance.

We only stayed one night. The room was cold and as there are no staff after a certain time, we were unable to ask about heating. The hotel seemed very nice and a longer stay would have been nice. Beware there is no lift to the rooms upstairs.

I stayed there one night to catch an early flight from Logan airport. Place is extremely convenient if you are looking to dine and have a beauriful room to sleep at the same place. It is15 min away from Logan Airport (hotel is located east of Boston, hence less traffic and practical if you want to access airport really early in the morning). Also hotel is located in a cozy area facing the ocean. So you can see water and planes reaching Logan which is pretty cool. As said, bar/reastaurant is at the ground floor- i liked it a lot, looking forward staying there again.

We stayed for one night;Only complaint I have is my friends that were checking in later than expected could not get ahold of anyone to let them know -and neither could I.They did eventually call us around 10:30 PM to see where we were -which is great since they lock the doors around 11!Bed was SUPER high which was tricky for us “average” height ladies lol,but comfy.

I loved the original tile floor in the lobby. It was beautiful! The woodwork throughout the downstairs area was stunning. As an appreciator of historical things, The Arms was a fantastic place! The food int he restaurant was excellent and every staff member we had contact with was very friendly and helpful.

In bad need of an update. The phone book and yellow pages from 2009 say it all. Otherwise, very friendly staff. Beautiful neighborhood. Only 15 mins to airport. Restaurant was quite good too

It was very clean. Bed was comfortable but literally 3 feet off the floor. The room was bare bones. No chairs, luggage rack, tissues. The tv barely worked. It was up 3 flights of stairs which was not mentioned at all prior to booking. The staff was limited to a young lady that doubled for restaurant seating as well. The amenities in the room were NONE! The only good feature was that it was clean. Way over priced for what it was

When we arrived, no one was at the hotel desk. The restaurant was closing and would not accommodate us. When we left, no one was at the hotel desk and there was no coffee .... no nothing in the lobby except some rolls delivered from a bakery. We let ourselves out and drove away never to return again.
