"Paper thin walls between rooms, not great if you're a light sleeper. Spotlessly clean though Had DBB deal which was great value, but it was so rushed in the restaurant. Less than a minute between courses. Breakfast was mediocre, not a lot of selection in either hot or cold food, but what was there was really nice (thickest bacon i've ever eaten). Hotel bar very sociable with all the golfers. Overall - great for a one night stay."

"This hotel is amazing. I booked 4 rooms for a touring band. I was slightly worried about some of the negative reviews, but the place was great. It does need some attention, but it's an historic building - 400 years old! The stairs are crazy, like something from a funhouse! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Mario, the manager is awesome. Friendly, chatty and accommodating. There's no bar and no food, but it's in the centre of Wisbech, and there are plenty of food and drinks options in...
