" This is a lovely upstairs studio, fitted out with almost everything a traveller might need and very well located for walking. The property might not be right for people with mobility issues because the entry is extremely tight and there are over a dozen narrow steps to get to the loft. Once up there, the views and comfort are delightful! "

"Property is in desperate need of a deep cleaning and fresh paint. Many large cobwebs in bedroom. There is a bed in the living room. Baseboards and caulking are grimy with years of built up dirt. Furniture is old toss-aways. Kitchen chairs are awkward and roll out from under you when you sit. They are too big for the tiny eating area with barely space for two. The chairs are also very low so you are sitting with the table at your upper chest. Items like Soap, towels, and area rugs are very cheap....

"Our 3night stay was enjoyable; the unit is close to route 66 restaurants and coffee shops. The owner is helpful and cordial... would stay here if we visit ABQ in the future. "

"Overall would recommend Desert Compass to others. The suite was tidy. The location was awesome. The bed was comfortable with 2 options for pillow type. It felt secure with gate codes and door codes. However, I would caution against staying in any first floor unit or at least the Cowgirl Suite. We could hear our upstairs neighbors walking back and forth. Similar to living in a bottom floor apartment. You also won't get much sunlight and what little you can you will likely opt out of as it means...
