"A lovely practical room on the ground floor (as all rooms there were) with everything I needed for a good night's stay. The bathroom had THE most sensible shower I've ever experienced - the controls set apart from where the water descends on you so I could get the temperature and flow right before starting to shower! (why isn't this standard in hotels?). Lovely helpful staff and I liked the atmosphere of the place."

"Ideally placed for the New Forest, Southampton and Bournemouth, we stayed 1 night while visiting the New Forest. We were made to feel welcome, which instantly made us relaxed. The room was clean, well decorated, the bed was comfortable. The bed linen and towels felt luxurious. The weekend breakfast was excellent, we started with fresh fruit and yoghurt (cereals were also on offer) then had a full English which was cooked to perfection using good quality ingredients. "

Pre-ordered breakfast for the following day and then settled down for the evening in a huge room with comfy seats, a big bed and a lovely bright and clean bathroom. "A wonderful find. We easily walked to town and to the beach in 15 minutes. Parking was good and although situated in a residential area it was very peaceful and quiet. It is attached to the owners property but there is a separate entrance and it felt very private. The property was well equipped and we were able to cook and enjoyed watching a few movies on the TV. We would love to come back and stay again."
