"Overall stay at Bastion was acceptable but was let down by lack of attention to detail i.e. numerous requests for extra towels and toilet rolls. Also TV did not work and at the end of our stay had still not been resolved ( hotel notified 3 times). No kettle in room and again 3 requests before it was provided."

"We paid extra for a room on the terrace. Its was grubby, bedding smelt and badly needed airing and there were horrible stains on the side of bed and wall - some looked like dried blood - yuk! Our door opened immediately out onto a table - part of the restaurant. The restaurant is busy at lunch time and evening -and so noisy until midnight and beyond. Not want we thought we were buying! "

"Hotel was 5 minutes walk from a reasonably-priced (€16 for 24 hrs) car park outside a shopping outlet. Hotel rooms were above a cocktail bar situated opposite a small square filled with bars and restaurants, close to the town hall.
